Newsgroups

anyone know how i can connect to newsgroups....

i'm a bit thick and can't follow the help in Forte Newsagent properly. Also anyhelp to any ps2 newsgroups would be appreciated.

Check the webpage at your ISP for details on the settings you need for Agent. You might also wish to browse a few of the premium subscription (pay) news services like Easynews, Usenetserver, Newscene, etc which also have help pages.

Once you have the settings correct for your news service (ISP or otherwise) the go to the top Menu bar and do a Online | Refresh Groups List to download all the available groups into Agent.

Then look to see if they carry any of the following:

alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2
alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso
alt.binaries.kenpsx
alt.binaries.squaresoft

If so, Subscribe to the group and Retrieve all the headers for a list of messages.

That should get you started...
