New Soul Calibur 2 CDR Rip floating around...?
New Soul Calibur 2 CDR Rip floating around...? –

Hey guys, just curious if you guys have seen this cd-r version of Soul Calibur 2 floating around certain places,
SOULCAL2.CUE - 74 bytes
SOULCAL2.BIN - 776 MB (814,014,464 bytes)
I tried about 5 times now using Nero w/ Simulation (I've burned numerous amounts of cd-r games using Nero already)
-- but for some reason I keep getting this "Buffer Underrun" error. Is there something wrong with the file, or something wrong with my system? Again, I've burned other cue/bin games without any problems in the past... So hope someone here can give me some advice
Thx,

I see, okay. Well I am planning on buying the game, when it reaches North American Shores.
But I'd like to play-test the import, got a problem with that?

System man. Buffer under rum means the burner ran out of stuff to burn. Shut down more stuff in the background and try again.

Yeah I do. It is still illegal to have it even if you "plan" on buying it. You can buy it here now.
Oh common for god sake, you are on a mod chip forum may I recall you. If you are offended by people who use backup, you should perhaps try some other forum.

Thank you, I couldn't have said it any better.

Hmm, I just tried again after a fresh system reboot. No luck, same error. Could it be anything else that can cause this error? I've never had this happen before when I copied my games.
Thanks,

Arrrrrr, try ta burn it usin' Alcohol 120% I get the same thing sometimes with Nero, but when I use Alcohol I gets me a playable backup. Of course, don't rule out that the rip could just be corrupt and ye need ta gets a new one.

Hmm, I tried Alcohol 120% too now, still no luck
I'm not sure what has caused this problem to occur all of a sudden, I've tried 4 different new games now.. I'm assuming that, chances are, at least 1 of them *should* work.
All I get is "Buffer Underrun" everytime I run simulation
I defraged my hard drive as well, after being told that a fragmented harddrive could cause these problems. Still no luck.
Any help would be appreciated!

I use cdrwin and i havent problems with this game. Is the japanesse version of soul calibur and work well.
Try with cdrwin. Other reason for use cdrwin is that nero close the session but can leave other session opened while cdrwin close the disc and you have nothing for this.
