anyone know if it can do dvd9 (duel layerd discs?)

P.S is it possible to rip a duel layerd dvd and split it onto a double sided disc?

I am guessing that you are talking about a dvd9 movie, and yes there are methods to break it into 2 dvd-r or a dual sided dvd-r. Check out www.doom9.org or www.vcdhelp.com both sites have tutorials that can help you out with this.

i'm keen to see the results with this burner i.e PS2's handing 4x burnt media.

for now though... i'll just stick 2x
