I have received a Dvd-r copy of Gta vice vity from a friend of mine.

Very cool, but i can`t boot it with my V5 neo 2.0 (or neo2.2) and region x cd.

Does somebody know how i can play this dvd-r? Should i buy something like swap magic?
I tried the ea boot method with the orignal dvd of devil may cry, but on my ps2(v5). the ea boot method don`t work. Tray doesn`t open automaticly...

    What to do??

Don`t say buy another mod chip plz....

Hiya M8 I know what you are going thru it's either lifting up the legs on the BAxxxx chip and soldering the extra connections for the EA swap to work or do what I did and install a tray switch using the 5 volt supply off the V5's main board to power the tray in and out without the PS2 knowing the tray has been ejected. If you need the wiring instructions let me know? This will enable you to do the GTA 3 or Devil May Cry together with the David Mirra codes swap trick....works a treat for me

A no solder chip costs about $20 and works just as well too
