need help quick

just wondering is there away where i can hook up my pc to a t.v or satalite box so i can copy the movies or t.v programs on to dvd disk? any help would be appreciated.

Arrrrrrr, ye need a special vid card in yer pc ta do it. One that has a video IN (the 3 rca jacks) on it. Ye can pick one up at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc... I use an All in Wonder card fer it...oh, ye'll need a LARGE hard drive too...I suggest AT LEAST 4-50 GB.
