Buddy next to my office has it in his computer. its 1100a to be precise. Burner came with the Dell comp. Its a +R burner only. So ideally u would need the latest PS2s to play ur backups.

"Apparently the OEM version included with Dell machines do not support DVD-R or DVD-RW.

The retail version is supposed support both DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW."

The retail version has had a name change to nd-1300 from what i have read.
