My CD-burner doesnt recognize PS1 roms

Maybe an absolute nooooob question, but when I put a PS1 CD into my burner it wont recognize it. It just says "No CD inserted"...

Anybody got a clue how I get my CD-burner to recognize the roms?

Click on the Drive in my computer. Hit explore. If you can't see something- time to get a new ps1 cd (or burner)...

upgrade firmware usually does it.
