How do you burn multiple Gi files using Primo DVD? I have a total of 4 files and whichever one I choose gives me an invalid image file. TIA

You must get the last version of primo dvd, and you will burn without problems... you can download the storage guard from veritas site to download the last version of primo....

In PrimoDVD you only need to select the .gi file without any numbers. Look at this like a winrar file split where there are multiple parts but one specific file gels them all together. Same concept.. If it don't work then your media is not compatible. Some people do copy to copies and I wouldn't suggest that. I have tested cheap media versus semi cheap media and the biggest problem is always compatibility with the DVD player. The cheap stuff will burn fine, but the better stuff is more likely to play on stubborn players.

You've probably never applied the Px Engine update to your initial install of PrimoDVD (or RecordNow.) The update knows how to handle the split GI files whereas the un-updated version only knows to expect a single large GI.

Veritas is no longer publically handling the updates, but you can find it at the Stomp site (www.stompinc.com) in the support section. It works for either PrimoDVD or RecordNow as they're basically the same product with slight cosmetic appearances.

After you apply it, then just choose the teeny-tiny .gi file and away you go...
