Okay, say I want to play around with a game's files and modify the music or something inside of a game. (For example, I want to modify Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the PS2 to replace the music tracks in it...)
I once tried to modify the Inuyasha game on the PS2 and add a dummy file to it to extend the data to the outside of the disc a bit. When I tried to boot it with Swap Magic, I got an error stating that my modified burn was not a valid PS2 disc.
I'd also like to explain that all I did was extract all the files from the ISO, generate a dummy file, then add all those files in a new Nero ISO project then burn to a disc. Obviously, this doesn't work.
My question to you, expert homebrewers, dev, etc,. what would I have to do to modify a PS2 game's files, then create a working ISO that I can burn to a CD or DVD and actually have it boot? What tools do I need? Is there a tutortial anywhere?
Thanks for the answers in advance.
