yes it seems that only certain ps2 with certain chips are having this problem
from dvd-r i have no problems works flawlessly but from hdd i just don't have music, at the ps2hd forums someone claims that it works under toxic OS 0.3 anyone can test it?
I burned the PS2DVD-PROTOCOL release on a DVD+R and booted on my slimline PS2 with Swap Magic 3.6. No problems here.
Works perfectly on DVD-R with music, on hdd no music.
kool so the music works fine off dvd r thts all i wanted to no thanx
mine works fine as well. the only thing is that the textures take a second to load on the main screen and it seems to take forever to load races and the garage. i dont know if anyone else has this problem, but maybe its because of my old mod chip.
eFing game freezes after intro on back up, dosent load from hdloader 0.7b at all, any suggestions??![]()
Maybe the problem is in your copy of the game. I have mine working fine from the dvd backup, and running (without music) in HdLoader 0.7b.Originally Posted by kinetik1
I just tried backing up my copy of MC3: DUB...
Ripped using DVD Decrypter, burned @ 1x using DVD Decrypter, Pioneer DVR-109, Apple DVD-Rs.
v7 PS2 w/ Matrix Infinity v1.36
It doesn't load the game, just takes me to the browser.
Do I need to patch or modify the ISO?
Could it be a firmware issue?
I should also mention that my PS2 plays my backup of Hot Shots Golf Fore just fine.
Sharpie, I also made an ISO with DVD Decrypter, burned the ISO with Nero 6.???, works without a problem. Burned on FujiFilm DVD-R at 2x. Maybe update the firmware of your infinity? I still use 1.39.
