Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance

I just dl MGS2S Echilon release and backed it up on a DVD-R. The opening sequence loads beautifully. I then proceed to select my game preferences (mission type, game difficulty, ect.). Once I accomplish that, a screen of text reads that the characters of the story are fictional and any coincidental names of real people are just that, a coincidence. NOW:The screen goes black........and black......and STAYS BLACK. The game goes no further. Im using a Messiah 2 Pro on a v7 if that is helpful to my solution.

Maybe you accessed some content that are on disc2, the game is split on 2 dvds, you know. :)
