has anyone got these discs lately

i got the ones just like it in jewel cases a while back, they ID as G03's...can anyone confirm that thats still what these are? Also, if they are the G03's does anyone want to go in on a bulk order with me to get the best price possible? I have references.

I don't know about this one, but meritline 2X are very good for ps2...

yea, I had got the sample pack a while back, i got both 1x and 2x meritlines, the 2x meritlines ID as TDK's, which was when the whole Princo fake ID thing was going on, so they may just be Princo's as far as the 2x go? These though do ID as G03.....damn people screwing with ID's, you never know what your going to get

Do they burn at 2x on your Pioneer A05

yep, but only with the hacked 2x Ritek firmware

but the 2x certs burned at 2x with no problems with original pioneer firmware(non hacked version 1.00)

yeh i have some meritlines here...they said 2x but my A05 only pickedem up as 1x burns=slowwww

not sure, no one has answered that yet. I think they are... I e-mailed the customer service and after some hassle she said "they can perform as well as ritek's" so considering thats what they ID as and she says that, i'm hoping they are riteks. The one I do have I burned at 2x with my Pioneer A05 with the 2x Ritek hacked firmware and it works great, so I think they are authentic riteks also. But if anyone else can confirm this please post

I too called customer service about the new 2x meritlines. They have a silver top now. and i asked the guy what they id as?...honestly--------they have no ****ing idea as to what that stuff is...they don't even know their product...even the tech support guys.. he eventually said that they were maxells ,but idunno...somethin sounds strange.. all i know for sure is that the former 2x whitetop/purple bottoms are discontinued-----probably ,because they were part of the princo scam..

it'd be nice if somebody bought these new discs so they could tell us the id.

i emailed them earlier again....asked them to use ADVDInfo to check...i highly doubt they will, even if they know what I am talking about. I think I will order the 1x spindle, Im not sure now, I was looking around and found some Riteks for cheaper once you factor in Meritlines shipping...but I'll let you guys know what they say about the 1x meritlines.
