I am having trouble playing a backup I just made of Medal of Honor European Assault. I have tried 3 time at different speeds. I am using DVD dycrypter, taking the image to the hard drive then back to blank disk after finish read. I have used this same process and blank media in the recent past. My PS2 reads all other backups fine. I have gotten my PS2 to read the boot up portion of the game but it freezes after a certain point. Can anyone offer some advice? Can someone suggest a better game backup software? (preferably free )

DVDecrypter is probably the best to use.
Sounds more media related to me. Just becuase the media you're using has worked before, doesn't mean it will always work, or work any more.
What brand DVD are you using?

Office max DVD+R (4.7GB/8x) So you don't think burning the DVD with Nero would have greater success?

I think burning with a different DVD would work better.

Definately switch to different brand DVD. You're using a very poor quality brand, and I'm quite surprised any of them worked even once!
I recommend RITEK G05 8x DVD-R. I've done over 2000 backups to these discs & not had a single coaster.

I been using DVD-R without much problems. Find that DVD+R is not so compatible. I read somewhere that they advise not to use DVD+R. So when to buy DVD-R.

Well, I get mine from a local small PC business pretty cheaply. So I cant tell you where to get them online. Use Google for that.
