Loading games directly from your PC without an HDD
The NA must send and receive through the IOP. It takes all that the IOP can muster to pull off 500-800 K/sec transfers, this is why FAPlink and the network portion of HDL_Dump never exceed 800 K/sec.
This also means that any time the game does something on the IOP, the read speed would be reduced. In addition, the compatibility of such a device would be even more awful than USBextreme/USBadvance, which is quite awful in and of itself. It would be an interesting proof of concept, but would have no real world value. If you don't have an IDE hdd and HDD bay, you might as well just boot games from discs.
Thank you for your reply....it seems that the NA is kinda weak....i'll keep loading from discs then XDD
