LG GSA 4081b firmware!?

Hi! I've got the lastest version of the firmware for my LG GSA 4081b and it's working fine, but when I bought it, they said this burner will be able to burn at 8x and DL discs after some firmware updates. The problem is that it seems LG stopped supporting this paticular drive and the latest firmware doesn't support any of those 2 features!! I've heard there were some unoficial firmwares that could make the dvd burner burn at a 8x speed. Anyone here has more information??

Have you tried google/other search engines?

They help in most of these cases.

Yup! I did tried, have found nothing but rumors about a possible hacked firmware that let burn DL discs.

(Also found a firmware that makes the drive region free, but I wasn't needing that)
