Hey guys,

First, it seems that no one has this burner in these forums....sooo.....I just purchased this burner for $290 canadian, and have a few media that I tried so far.
(I have magic 2.0, by the way, v7 ps2)


- Quentin HK DVD-R (checked Nero CDspeed, turned out to be TDK discs, or it could just be a custom brand with the manufacturing code) - worked great, burned ZOE 2 on it, works like a real DVD, no skipping whatsoever, burned at 1x, bought it for 2 bucks canadian in hong kong!

- Ritek G03 DVD-R - works great too, no errors yet, burned at 1x, played FFX-2 japanese version

- Princo DVD-R - MY PS2 HATES THIS....skipping in movies.....only good for temporary data in my case....burned FFX on it using my LG burner

- Pioneer DVD-R - works well.......albeit expensive.....very well

If anyone else has any other success or failures using this burner to burn other DVD-Rs, please post....as you can see, all these media are already known to be good.......so more variety is appreciated

Hope this helps anyone looking for a good, cheap burner.

Might be a seem to be low quality (lower price) than others, but it supports EFM encoding too!! And it burns just great!
