King of Fighters: Maximum Impact

Anyone know what the story is with DNL's KoF: MI (dnl-kof) release? The .nfo claims that it's the full USA release. However, when I play it, all the dialog is in Japanese. According to the board at GameFAQs and other sites for the game, the USA version is supposed to have English dialog only.

Looks like DNL has done it again...

"Preview/beta version had trials of
key switch i.e Exit is O & accept is X < J version has X exit and O accept
Some costumes will never unlock with challenege fully completed
Game will crash in profile
English Captions/profile issue i.e spelling or spacing issue
and some others but one of the good ones was you can do over 100 hit combo with ryo due to modified wall hit animation

Also note that the FINAL (JAP) version was out by Orgasm on 04/10/16... How could DNL release anything 2 months ago ? Well, it was a fake beta. Do not waste bandwidth with d/ling that...

Thanks. Ugh, this sucks... Now I bet the USA version won't get a proper release because everyone will figure it already has been released...

It's common these days that a lot of fake (and/or beta) stuffs are released. You know, everyone wants to be the first and the best.Groups that we have never heard before pop up and release something and these groups dissapear in days, everything that remains their only releases which suck, and are fake. Just did a quick search on a wellknown board, well got 30 hits and 24 out of those 30 were NUKED. Great ratio. Have you noticed how many UNWORKING bad releases are around these days ? A way too many...

Hmmm... So Orgasm's o-kofmi release is the Japanese version? I only know of one site which lists releases, and the front page says Orgasm's release is the NTSC/Jap version, however when you click the .nfo and read it, it says it's the NTSC/USA release. So I'm wondering which is correct. Oddly enough, it's the same for Miracle's rip. Front page says Jap, .nfo says USA...

Seems it's USA + final (finally). Miracle rip is also USA... At least guys say so. Caravan released the JAP version 2 months ago.
