Killer 7 Question JAP and PAL please read!

i bought the japanese version of Killer 7 but the japanese subtitles are kinda hard to understand.
so then i bought the PAL version. but i was shocked!! the voice of iwazuru is broken now!!!

in the jap version, he speaks with an "english computer" voice. it sounds very strange, but is pretty cool.

but in the PAL version, they changed his voice to absolute NONSENSE!!!
its like a strange "bla bla".

so my question is,
is there a way to exchange some files from the jap to pal version (eg the voices) and use the image on HDD?? (like when flattening a dvd9 game.)
any tipps and hints would be really appreciated, cause i WONT play this messed up Pal version. thx capcom! (>_<)


EDIT: i figured it out. read my post below. ;)

I think if you copy and paste the sound files over, then it should work.

If you're running the game from the hd, and not burning the edited copy, then you have nothing to lose.

Oh and btw, I have the US version of that game, and from the way that you've described them, I think the voices in it are the same as the PAL one.

I thought the new voices were good, You can still read the subs. In the jap version, GC anyway its still hard to understand all that is said, The GC version has faster loading too, Oh sorry, I dont know how you would rip the files you need, Im sure its possible though.
Fantastic game all the same. Cant believe some sites have rated it so low, At least the UK magazines have it right, Edge 8 and Games tm 9.

I think the thing is that it's a difficult, and ever so slightly misleading game. From the looks of the packaging, it seems to be a really straight forward, yet cool FPS, when it is in fact one of the weirdest games I've ever seen, and I'm only basing that on the control system.

It's an awesome title though, it's good to see somebody having a crack at something original once in a while.

I never used to be into Pele until about 6 months ago, when I really discovered Talula. :) I can't get enough of it now.

She played Horses as well when I saw her last month, and let's just say it affected me a bit.

i just played around and did two different dvds. the second worked.
it is SOOOO much better now!!! it now is actually english what the voice is talking. (with a lot of grammar mistakes-maybe because of that they changed it!? japanese wont notice, but american and europaen players!for example, the subtiltle says something like "they have bombs attached to their bodys" und the voice says instead of "crack grak %§&$.." ->"they have shocking supplys".) lol!
its a shame capcom changed it!

i hope it wont freeze later ingame.

this is what i did for those who want to play the game the way it was meant to be!!! (at least for the japanese gamers!!)

copy everything from your US or PAL dvd into a folder. just exchange the file ADXFILES.AFS in the "D" folder of the JAP version if u own it. make an iml out of it, convert that to iso and burn. and here we go. (search this forum for how to do that if u dont know how to do iml2iso.) we have all the subtitles AND the voice talking (little strange) english instead of "chrakc grret chrrer &%(§&"... (^_^)

until now, it runs smooth from DVD. hope it wont freeze later in the game. the short controller tutorial at the beginning is still with the messed up voice, but the rest works great so far.
