For those that know me from my previous post, there's good news and bad news - the good news, I burnt a dvd-r and my PS2 didn't give a Disk error this time, but it showed up the gold disc icon in the Browser thingie so I'm assuming a did the burn wrong (a bit out of my league maybe... I had earlier ripped an entire DVD to my harddrive, vob files ect and made an image file out of 'em and burnt it with Alcohol 120% on an Imation DVD-r) ok so it played on my computer with WinDVD but what good is that right...

For those that don't know me, I'm the newbie. So don't be suprised if you see asking a lot more dumb questions in the future.

New dilemma! Rented Soul Calibur II from Blockbuster, wanna copy, what's the best solution? Which program would be best for copying this particular title? Oh... and are there any ripkits available for it - I wouldn't mind attempting to do a rip of it onto a cd-r that would be kinda cool

time to play - I'll be back soon to hopefully see some responces

Aaaaaaaarrggghh! Another COASTER!! I done a direct copy with Alcohol 120% (image dump then burn) on a purple-bottom Imation DVD-r and it DOES NOT WORK boots to menu selection, if I go to browser just keeps Reading disc and doesn't stop

Oh well, I guess everyone's asleep...

This question should probably in the CD-R rip forum instead of here, but I didn't want to make a new topic just for it

Does anyone know which of the Soul Calibur II rips on the PS2Modz website is verified and working? I tried two of the german ones, but didn't understand them and the other links weren't working. - I attempted to use one of the german-written ones, it seemed to rip ok ect and batched the ISO with relative ease and with the DVD Check button I think it could not find a file which I am guessing is due to the fact I have the PAL version of Soul Calibur II... anyway I convertered the ISO to XA Data Mode 2 and burnt it with Nero on a TDK 80 min CD-R, chucked it in the PS - goes to browser, and in the memory card selection screen shows a black disk...

so I guess I'm asking if anyone knows of a PAL version of the ripkit? OR if they could help me edit the dvd checks - I believe the file on the PAL vers. is SLES_517.99
