I've just bought a hp dvd200i and when I open Prassi PrimoDVD, it said no recognizable writer found, how com? I downloaded the latest PX Engine update and what else do I need to do?

Yo! I have the same drive. Anyway, there's not a lot you can do. PrimoDVD doesn't support the 200i. Best thing you can do is get Nero or RecordNow Max, or both.

I actually use Nero for Data discs, RecordNow for PS2 stuff, and DVD It! to do DVD videos. Works out well, if you ask me.

Yup, it supports *.gi, *.iso, *.ima, *.img, *.image, *.udi

I think version 4 is the newest.

RecordNow uses the same Prassi Px burning engine as PrimoDVD in a slightly updated package with a slightly redesigned GUI. Otherwise they're the identical except for the included driver support for HP and Phillips DVD+R drives. (LOL I hope your PS2 reads DVD+R discs too, or you're hosed, eh?)

Be sure to apply the Px Engine update so you can handle split GI files (or if you're not running NTFS.)
