jak 2 help –
I made an image on my hdd of jak 2 using the newest version of nero however when I load it in nero it sees it as a foriegn image and after burning I can see that is does not read in my ps2 nor pc. I can however read the image with ISObuster but I was wondering. Is it possible for me just to rip the bare files from the image and burn them to a dvd or do I need the original disk again?
Nero isn't the best tool to write iso images, I have had several bad DVD burns using Nero. Use Primo DVD or RecordNow max, those two are much better in handling iso images than Nero. If you have the original image try to write it to a rewritable with Prassi. If that works, then you're ok. If not, the image got corrupted. Then you'll need the original disk again, and rip it with Prassi or Recordnow.
pS: and forget isobuster. It won't help at all.
