That tends to happen with all of the singstar games. As far as I know there is no way to fix the audio / video sync..

Peppers, would like to know more detail aboout this issue please.
This is a problem with ESR or what?
notes: late at night I talk about myself in the third person.
Not just ESR and FMCB but all versions of them.
1.Original Back up, with swap magic.
2.original back up with ESR patch.
3. HDLoader.
NONE WORK........

****, Peppers is annoyed by that.
That puts a wrench in some of plans.
Four ways to deal with the sync, all of which require hardware that can accept PAL signals.
1. multisystem tube TV displays PAL and NTS. I have an Akai CRT that works like this.
2. HDTV that accepts PAL signals and processes them properly to sync correctly.
3. PC with TV card that has input that will accept PAL signals.
4. VGA converter box that accepts PAL signals.
I have not tried the last method as I don't have a VGA box anymore.
I will see if my desktop can accept pal signals
Thanks
So what about NTSC versions of these titles they suffer from this problem also correct?
Are orignal retail disks effected?
What is the problem exactly and why dose using a device that supports both 50 and 60 hz mode correct it when a regular European 50hz TV has this issue?
That simply dose not make any since, if the ps2 is outputting a signal that is out of sink there should be no way to correct it outside of the console without introducing lag. Also TV's that support 50 and 60hz usually do not handle the 50hz signal any different than a 50Hz only TV, HDTV's are differint though they upscale any non-HD signal they get but that still should not matter.
edit:Wait a moment are we talking games that have been home converted from PAL to NTSC?
If so when I asked for more information that really should have been mentioned.
I did not even think of that because this guy calls himself england1 so I naturally assumed he is English. Just as I call myself Peppers as a way of letting everyone know that I am spicy, and just like certain people are Ninjas of the bootleg, some are 79 year old DJ's that use flexmasters to stay in shape and to help slow the progression osteoporosis, others are like your big brother and and still others let you know that they are not really human and are really dragons.
I bought the game from england because i live in the USA
i have a ntsc console
I want it to work on my tv.
But when i convert it there is a lag on the audio and video
So dose anyboady know how to access and modify the audio files in the singstar games?
If so this may be a way of correcting the problem by adding or subtracting a little bit to/from them.
