ISO Tool and settings

Hey
What is the best tool to make an ISO (Image) that will able to be burnt on disc striaght away and played on ps2, basiclly im using a laptop which obviously only has 1 drive and that drive happens to be a dual layer dvd burner and i want to back up my games but for me to do that i have to copy the dvd/cd disc contents on to the harddrive and then put them files into and ISO (Image) and burn it on disc, but i obviously cant make any old ISO it has to be to a specific settings right? so it will work on the ps2. Is nero any good for this?

I use DVD Decrypter (google it), its never failed me yet.

Most people who make patches use DVDDecrypter to make their ISO's. So if you want less complications with patching then use that. Otherwise use whatever you wish.

Patching of what, and if i make a iso with dvddecrypter can i burn it straight with nero and play it on my ps2 with no probs?

Patching the ISO to remove SwapMagic/HDLoader protection.

You can rip, then burn the ISO within DVDDecrypter. You don't need nero at all.

Oh I see, but aint DvdDecrypter for dvd movies? and how do i patch? what software do i use? sorry for all the nooby questions but im new to this.

It was originally created for dvd movies. But theyve updated it to be able to read and backup just about any dvd including ps2 dvd's.

PPF-o-Matic v3. It's very simple to use, you can't really go wrong.
