Imation DVD burner, any good?

Hi everyone,

My cousin has an Imation DVD burner, I think this is the one:

I'm thinking of getting some good media to start backing up my games with his DVD burner for now until I get my own, so can you please tell me if this DVD burner is good enough, or will it be a waste to use good media on it.

On a side note, I think I'm going to get this burner: http://www.supermediastore.com/pione...ulk-black.html , the media I'll mostly use will be Taiyo Yuden and Sony, if you think I should get another burner (something that's not much more expensive), I'd really like to hear your suggestions.

Asus and Nec will do as good burners .As for the discs drop Sony and add Verbatim.
