i need help burning rips
i need help burning rips –
I'm not sure what the problem is. I've been burning various rips for a week or so now, and burned about 4 or 5 without any problem, they all play on the first try in my v5 with a magic 3.1 chip.
Now, I've burned 2 different rips, Splashdown, and XMEN onto the same media that worked before multiple times. Using both CDRWIN and Fireburner (what i had previously used that worked) and I cannot get the games to work in the PS2, it gives me the red screen of death. The other games I burned still work in the PS2, so i've narrowed it down to a cd burning issue. Any suggestions? I've already checked my ASPI layer, and they are Adaptec drivers version 4.7, all freshly updated. I've tried this on both of my two computers that have the same situation as far as settings go.
any help would be appreciated.
are u using the same burner ? i had probs like this at first, everything i burnt on an LG12x didnt boot, i think out of the 10 games i burnt, only 1 worked or somethin.
then i used a different machine, with a different cd writer (an HP 8x) using the same settings and apps and it works everytime now. so maybe just give that a try, burn it on another machine with different cd writer, or just try swapping cd writers.
i've tried it on 2 different machines, with 2 different writers. I think it may have something to do with ASPI, somehow. When burning with CDRWIN, should I use the default ASPI driver on the system, or the one installed by CDRWIN? I have a feeling that ths problem is because of an interaction between programs. I have Nero, Fireburner, and CDRWIN 3.9d installed currently on both machines. I, at one point had CDRWIN 5.0 installed on both of them also.
i have clonecd, nero, cdrwin, and alcohol 120
i think i have the default aspi driver..
everything is workin for me :/
