I need a backup of Action Replay Max.. NOT WAREZ!

Yeah it sounds like Im trying to get something I didnt pay for, but this is no lie. A couple years ago (Before I got XBox) I bought a Action Replay Max, and about a week of using it, when I went to put it in I didnt set it on the tray right and it sucked in half the disk. Panicing, trying to pull it out, the disk is so screwed it wont even load.

This is why its not warez.. I need a backup of the disk itself, I have the memory card still. I Dont want a hacked one that uses the normal memory card because That would be warez. Hell, if you want I will go take a picture of it all to show you. I just dont think its fair I need to go pay another $50 for something I have that my crappy PS2 ate.

Or maybe.. anyone knows some free, open source maybe, applications for PS2 that does the same thing as a action replay/gameshark?

ummm i think youre missing the point. it doesnt really matter if you have it or not, asking for it is a no no. lets have an example: just because i own a game, i dont have the right to ask for the iso on this forum correct? besides if your disc becomes so screwed up that it no longer works then you no longer have the right to own a backup of that.

Yep. If the original is no longer playable, then you are asking for warez. Stupid, yes, but thats how it works.

WHAT!? then what the hell is the point of a backup? When you make backups/copies of anything when the original is destroyed you don't loose the right to the backup/copy. Thats retarded... mine as well use the original by that means.

But those are the laws. If the original is destroyed, you have to destroy the backup also.

The point of a backup is to use while keeping the original stored away where it cannot get damaged.

i think legislation must have been smoking something when they passed that law. i especially like the idea that you can have a backup of a game you own but no way of playing it except by buying and installing a mod chip which is REALLY frowned upon.

but yea like nightman said, the point of the backup is to be used while you keep your original in its case.

i hate copyright laws... i know if your get down to it you can't resell dvd's or cd's or anything so gamestop/game crazy and all those chains are breaking the "law"

Another addition to that.YOU DON"T have the right to make a PS2 backup for your legaly purchased games UNLESS you let SONY know and they athorize it.So there is pratically none LEGAL BACKUPS...Piracy is an economic crime and in this world it is les punishable to murder someone than steal form a large company..

I think this should be moved to the Flamerz section. You are still asking for something that breaks the rules. There is a thing called Cosmic cheat but that is not fully working.

One question more that I now noticed.A couple of years ago?And you bought AR MAX??Man you have really invented time travel...AR max was not out 2 years ago.It was only the V2.So the conclusions are yours...
