i made a backup of my orignal game and patched it up but then it dint work

it went to a red screen, please insert a playstation or playstaion 2 disc, can anyone tell me why and how to resolve this problem

why did you patch it, if you have a modchip there is no need to patch.
just get dvd decryptor
make an iso image of original and then burn that image back and thats it

i pachted it so i could bypass DNAS? can anyone tell me why it didnt work, i did it at either 4x times speed or 2x speed, was it the disc fromat?can anyone please tell me all the formats supported by slim ps2

I would use good quality discs like taiyo yuden or ritek
burn at 4x using dvd decyptor, I have over 400 games burnt that way and not one dud.
what chip are you using and has it played burnt games before.

can u give the exact details of the entire process that u did ? also, give information about ur ps2 (region, chip, version, etc..)

and what version patcher u used and wich game, coz sum games need to be patched differently.

i patched mgs3 subsistence, i used iso buster and then disc id insetrer

Extract the DNAS300.IMG. (or similar name).
Patch the file with discidinsertor220.
Load the iso in WinImage and inject the file back in your iso.

read my tutorials, hope they help, they are pretty old.
