have a matrix infinity chip firmware 1.35 and version 7 PS2. I just got my laser repaired by **********.com and Im having problems playing my games. When I had my PS2 before my laser died it was playing Verbatim disk fine...now when I put those same disk in they don't even work anymore. My ps2 just sites there with a no Data image on the screen the whole time. My PS2 came back with a TDK DVD-R disk of NFL Street and it plays fine. I went out and bought the same kind of media, but when I burn games to disk they load slow or they don't load up at all and just sit on a black screen. I then went out and bought Maxell disk and I get the same results as the Verbatim. I don't know what what's going on here....I tied burning at 1x and I tried burning at 2x and nothing seems to help. I'v used DVD Decryptor and Alcohol 120. My origanl games work fine. Here is the DVD burner im using http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/p...69,kw--NA.html
Can someone plz help me....I already wasted 15disk just trying to get my games to work correctly.

There could be a few things.

First, dont rule out that your burner has crapped out on you.

Secondly, what kind of discs are you using? + or -r? If using +r are you leaving them as is or setting the booktype (not sure if nec writers can do that) to -r.
