i am having trouble with dvd decrypter

well i downloaded dvd decrypter and i also downloaded the aspi and i gave dvd decrypter a try and i went to mode and i put down iso-read and i inserted ''grand theft auto vice city'' and i pressed derypt in the bottom and then it compleated the red all the way to like 78 and then this litle window popped out saying this

and thats all it stopped. does anyone know how to fix this problem please help me out :banghead:

same thing happened to me but with my shrek2 game and i pulled it out and it was totally scratched(it would still play though) so i borrowed a friends and it worked

So I guess the answer would be that your game Disk is too Scratched....maybe you can rent it from place like blockbuster or hollywood....

INTERPRETATION:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR: dust and/or scratches on the disk. The drive's internal error correction circuit can't recover the data from the disk. You have some choices which might be worth a try.

1, clean the disk and try again
2, switch to elbyio in dvddecrypter i/o interface if you have clonecd/clonedvd installed on your computer. this interface handles bad quality and scratched disks much more. set the error retry attempts number to a high value (for exampe 100) as it used to help.
3, set your reading speed to minimal
4, if you have any other drive give it a try (memorex is not the best writer/reader)

---ok guys what i did was that i went and borrowed a brand new game from my friend with no scratches. and i put iso read in dvd decrypter and i pressed decrypt and it did it and it said sucessfully done and it was saved.so then i pressed iso write and it started writing and the percentage bar stayed in 0% so i went to sleep and in the morning i woke up and i thought it was done but it was still in 0% so i cancelled it and now im stuck and i want to know how to fix that.could anyone help please?----

What type of writer is it ? Download the latest DVDDecrypter version. Use the general spti io interface when trying to burn (under XP/2000).

its a memorex dvd-r , dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw burner. yeasterday i tried it and i changed it to stpi and when i was trying to read the same disc again it didnt compleate it only went to 52%

Then sure there is something wrong with your computer setup/software. SPTI is XP/2000's internal layer to access hardware. If that fails, you have something wrong with your IDE drivers, or windows settings. I'd check the burner in another computer, and if it works, I'd reinstall a fresh windows to test the writer again.
