I got the original codebreaker cd, and I need to copy it. Anyways I think theres some kind of protection on it cuz everything i've tried gives me errors. Even CloneCD gave me errors. I even tried to copy it to my Harddrive then make an ISO. Whenever I try to copy the files to my harddrive though, it slows down to almost a complete standstill then starts up again with the copying. At the rate that the files are copying I would say in maybe a day or so it'd be done . Anybody know anyway to copy this? Gotta be a way.

PS. hope u know how to use CloneCD(ie play with setings...) I do not think this is a protection but a **** up..... Good luck
Writing to CD Failed, ILLEGAL REQUEST: INVALID FIELD IN CDB (then says some #'s) I adjusted those settings, but it still says that. I'll try to fool with the settings some more, and maybe i'll get it. I'll try the blindwrite if I can't get it to work.

That's why we recommend BlindWrite Suite. It does things the first time that CloneCD just can't handle.

    CloneCD is WAY overhyped....

CloneCD for me would copy but the backup would not boot at all. Blindread/write on the other can did an excellent job of ripping and burning and it works great.

BlindWrite is doing the same thing that whenever I tried to save to my HD did. First Blindwrite starts making the image, then it just slowly slows down, until it gets to almost a complete standstill. I do have my original copy, but I needed to copy it to cd for somebody else since they got a M2 they could use a backup of it. Anyways, i'll try CloneCD again, and fool with the settings some more.

No, the actual problem I beleive is the READING of the CD. Anyways I was fooling around with CloneCD and figured out the problem (had to uncheck "copy on the fly" for some reason). So it started copying, and just like everything else it slowed down to almost nothing while copying. It would have worked though. I guess my disc is messed up or something even though it works fine on my ps2? Anybody got any ideas?

I have the same issue. I tried it with Nero 5.5.xxxx and Clone CD 3.3.xxxx and for Clone CD, it went up to 4% of CD reading...after 20 minutes!!(it said there was approx. 7 hours to finish making image of CD) Then I tried it on another PC...same thing. Then I tried Nero thinking "Good Ol' Nero! You Burn My DVD's, Why Not?" Sure enough, I get an error. I think maybe they figured a way of actual protection....for now anyway..

I've burn successfully a CBv4 DVD to CD-R using Nero. The .ngr is just ~150MB, no point to waste a perfectly roomy DVD-R.
