hi, i have some ps2 games which are in dvd9 form. i really dont like playing with my original disks as my little brother never care the dvds as i do ( i dont understand that why? ) though they like to play games as i do !!! and the problem is that i cant stop them from playing either .

so i always make backups of my dvd and then plan with them so that the original ones wont get effected/scrached.

Now, i problem is i have some games which are in dual side disk ( dvd9) and i have treid to make the copies of it but my ps2 rejects to play it..... and at the same time not giving me any error also.

would need any help regarding how to make backups of my games and how do i play them in my ps2!!!

i have the latest slim ps2( modded ofcource with matrix infinity chip in it )

You can back them up whole, first you must rip the game into a .ISO onto your computer, you can use IMGBURN, you will then need to patch them with Toxic Dual Layer Patcher :
    http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/atta...6&d=1114899967
and then patch your .ISO with ESR Disk patcher :
    http://forums.sksapps.com/attachment...gui-v0.24a.rar
and then burn it to a dual layer disk. DJ

Yes you will need to patch them twice,
First with Toxic Dual Layer Patcher
    Second with ESR Gui Patcher
Third burn to respectable media with IMGBURN. DJ

He doesn´t need to patch it in any way.
He don´t need to patch it for ESR, cuz he mentioned to use a Matrix Infinity.
He also don´t need to patch it with Toxic DL-Patcher, cuz the MI has DVD9/DL-Auto-Patching-Support.

    A straight 1:1-Copy should work.
    PS2 V7/DMS3 V2 (FW:2.4b7); Seagate Baracuda 200GB
    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB
    PS2 SCPH-30004R; NoMod+NoLaser

    3xSony MC 8MB
    MAX/Datel 16MB with Boot-CD
    MAX/Datel 32MB&64MB

My bad man, he was sending me PM's here and so was 5 other people. I looked over that he had a matrix infinity chip. But anyway, thanks TnA for clearing that up for me. If he had already burned it, I guess he now has a copy to give away, to a friend to play with FMCB. DJ
