how to image and burn a dvdr on win 98 wit a FAT32 file system? –
title explains.. juss wanna know cuz i might be gettin 1 for my bday so i juss wanna know how to do it on win 98 cuz i heard it wont accept any file over 4 gigs.
Primodvd splits the DVD up into convenient 2GB chunks.
dont plan to download dvd images (of games you already own of course )
the only group known to release them in the 2gb chunks is signum, other than that (the big dvds) are 4gb+, so you'll need NTFS file system to be able to burn those.
I had a similar problem too.....
I used Partition Magic to create a 5 gb ntfs drive on my hard and store one big file there at a time.
Yep primo with upate will work fine, why don't you just get XP Pro, its everywhere for free
yeah thats right! Somebody gave me xp pro 2003 with sp1 and some antispy thingo..
too lazy to install it as xp pro ver 2002 is going fine.
I still prefer Fat 32 for compatibilty at the moment..
i just upgraded to win2k today cuz dvdxcopy wasnt compatible with win98...anyway, I didnt know that fat32 doesnt support large files, but im glad i decided to do ntsf when i switched.
ntsf is better since it auto-defrags itself, and supports files up to 4TB size (a single file)..... its damn good
