I found a post by cali on how to use a cheat device with burnt games involving cogswap (which i use), but its very confusing. Can someone please look at this and help?

I discovered a way to load games with codes on, For this I used the Swap Magic 3.3 elf file launched from memory card and CDloader, I also put Swapmagic.ELF on the disk. Depending on what version ps2 you have you may be able to just use Cogswap/CDloader, or an older version of Swap Magic
What I did was change CDloader to the main SYSTEM.CNF this makes it so after selecting codes when you choose to boot the game it will boot CDloader. From there you can pick your Cogswap or any version of CDloader, Swapmagic or any other program you want. On my menu I put Armax evo, Gameshark, xploder, Codebreakerv7 HDloader CDloader's Cogswap, Swap Magic and some emues. Now in the MYSYSTEM.CNF make your list of all the cheat devices and loaders you want to use. Follow the steps to create a multi game dvd. Remember to set the CDloader as your SYSTEM.CNF
and create your CD/DVD
Now that you have your new cheat/Boot device compulation load it up.
What I do is boot up launchelf (unpacked) then select the SwapMagic.ELF from memory card, use a high TOC PS2 CD/DVD if you burned to a CD remember to refresh TOC with a Ps2 CD. a Psx CD will not work to launch the game. Use normal boot. Press X when CDloader comes up to go to the CDloader menu. From here I load either Codebreaker v7 or armax evo. Any cheat device that doesn't open the CD tray should work. Load your codes and choose launch game. It will take you back to CDloader. Now press X to advance to the menu. Choose either HDloader to cheat on HDD games, Or the correct Boot program to boot your CD/DVD. I select SwapMagic 3.3 Swap in my backup and then launch the game.
