how do i burn a dvd game to cd and make it run?

what do i need to do, from start to finish, to burn a dvd game to a cd-r? what programs do i need, hardware etc. sry i know this is a real newbish question. For example purposes how would i burn vice city to a cd-r?

u need to go to this site and register and download the proper rip kit for the game(ntsc or pal). Or if u wanna be all rambo..u can get a tool called atlantis and rip teh movies from vice city...and get a pss downsampling tool which would rip the music. Ur choice bub
