Help..WHat is another good Media Burning Program I can try??

I just replaced my Pioneer A05....so..I'have to rule out the software: Record Now Max v.1.30...
What is another reliable easy to use software available..and where can I find it?

1.30 is your firmware. The newest version of RNM that you were using was 4.50. Have you tried RNM with your new burner?

i tried the 1.00 v rnm and when trying to play it it goes to the memory card screen

I think you are confused. 1.00 is your burner's firmware. Your version of RNM is probably a 3.x or 4.x. If your version of RNM is anything less than 4.50, download this file. It will upgrade you to 4.50.

im guessing your having firmware/media troubles...

what the heck is actually the problem? and why did you have to replace your 105?

I recently got some help in updating my software..but with unexpected results..here is what I did:

Pioneer A05 Firmware updated from 1.0 to 1.30

Record Now Max 3.0 to 4.50

and installed pxEngine390.exe

Mind you I am working on a Win2000 os.

Now when I try to burn a dvd based ps2 game instead of the playstation logo followed by the game I am getting the screen that shows the memory card...as in no game is present...

I have painstakingly followed all the steps...made a global image at minimum speed..and then burned the image at both 1x and 2x on Ritek G03 media..but with the same result..I even went back to my old version of record Now Max 3.0...which this has never happened with..but it does now...
I called pioneer and they suggested i get a replacement unit.

Now i that I have a new Pioneer a05 with fw 1.30 and tried to burn the new tomb raider game using my winXP os and Stomp Record Now Max 3.0. But when I put the burned game in ps2 again, instead of going to the Playstation 2 logo it goes to the memory card screen.

I am using RNM 3.0 instead of 4.5 because it worked for me fine before...I'm trying to get back to a stable system.

If you're copying the disc yourself than try DVDDecrypter, that's all I use for PS2 games and movies.
If you're downloading .gi files than Record Now Max 4.5 works great. I'm running Windows 2000 pro and no problems so far.
