how do you turn off the auto insert notification? i know there is a way to do it in your registy but im not sure how so can someone please tell me how. thanks
Depends on which OS you're using.
Use the Search button and enter in "auto insert notification" for the keywords...
i have xp pro
i did it before and it worked but i formatted and i need to know how to do it again. tell me please. thankls
Ok for XP you have to edit it in the registry, its really easy just follow this path.......
First click start, click run and then type in REGEDIT and push OK....it will bring up a split registry window
Now follow this path (open each one)
MY COMPUTER....HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE....SYSTEM....Curren tControlSet.....Services.....Cdrom....
When you click on the CDROM line, it opens over on the right side of the Registry window cdrom options, over there is a AUTORUN line, double click it and it opens a popup, simply change the number in this popup from 1 to a 0 and hit OK and your done
Leave the regstry alone.
Easy way :
Install clone cd from elby
or direct clone cd
Dont need to register leave as demo ver.
Go to tools ----> setings -----> auto insert notification and turn off.
restart the pc.

LOL Right... install CloneCD whether you need it or not just to get a checkbox, rather than make one simple registry edit.
You crack me up...
