HELP!!! My system is fragged...

I recently got some help in updating my software..but with unexpected results..here is what I did:

Pioneer A05 Firmware updated from 1.0 to 1.30

Record Now Max 3.0 to 4.50

and installed pxEngine390.exe

Mind you I am working on a Win2000 os.

Now when I try to burn a dvd based ps2 game instead of the playstation logo followed by the game I am getting the screen that shows the memory card...as in no game is present...

I have painstakingly followed all the steps...made a global image at minimum speed..and then burned the image at both 1x and 2x on Ritek G03 media..but with the same result..I even went back to my old version of record Now Max 3.0...which this has never happened with..but it does now...

How can I remedy this..is it reversable?

Please help........

I tried it with hulk that i just rented..brand new..no scratches or marks..three copies later same reults...so i rentes mortal kombat deadly alliance..same result..no playstation logo..just the memory card screen comes up....

What kind of modchip do you have? Maybe it is the chip

He has a Messiah 2. It is not the chip that is the problem. He sent me his burns that didn't work on his system and they didn't work on my Apple system either.

SInce I went back to Record Now Max 3.0...and I don't think pxengine update would affect that..could it be the firmware update?

it seems like it would have to be. the firmware's the only thing that cant be easily reverted though

Had same problem with my HULK DVD-R *.ISO (card screen comes up) but i can burn other games...
