I need some help burning a PSX Games
I tried burning a PSX .bin file to a CD and when I play it in my PS2 it comes up as an audio CD with about 12 tracks
I burned it using K3b on linux Ubuntu.
Any ideas?

I Think that you might need Swap Magic or A mod Chip don't quote me tho because im note sure
On Linux I always use... ImgBurn through Wine, so I don't know if K3B offer this options. :P
Setup:
Mode2, RAWDAO96 (You need also burner which support it). One and close session.
Of course You need modchiped PS2 or using deadly disc swaping (or if You have proper model, PSXLoader - but this is illegal, it contain PS1DRV).
Thanks, I'll try IMGBurn.
I'm using freemcboot swap trick with a slim ps2 to play PSX games, the disk stops spinning so its easy to swap
EDIT: Which version of imgburn are you using? I get a few errors. Are you using it from the command line or using the GUI?
Thanks.
i use clone cd and imgburn
Isn't it bad for the PS2 laser running burned PS1 games? How do you do the swap trick? I have sensor modded and freemcboot on my PS2.
Uwaaah,... Back then I also used that application K3B,... It's not that bad probably, but... Well, how to say... It somewhat sucks.
Sorry for those who like it (I haven't used it so often, so I can't make a plausible reasoning if it's good or bad really, but my experience wasn't that good.).
It includes PS1DRV?Of course You need modchiped PS2 or using deadly disc swaping (or if You have proper model, PSXLoader - but this is illegal, it contain PS1DRV).
Why that? It's included in EVERY PS2-BIOS...
That's somewhat crazy....
Either use uLE and it's disc-control-feature, or PSXlauncher, like berion said allready...
It also depends on your PS2-Version.
@TnA
What do you use instead of K3B (When using Linux)
@Bayron
PART1:
Start your ps2
hold r1 to go into uLaunchElf
Go to configuration or press select to go there
Go to any line with X, [], ^, O (X, Square, triangle, circle) on, press CIRCLE to edit the path, go to MISC, press CIRCLE to select 'PS2 Browser'
you should now be back at the config menu and on the line with should now contain the path to 'PS2 Browser
Go down and set BOOT DISK to 'ON'
Go down and select OK
PART 2:
Turn off your ps2, put in a retail psx game, turn on the ps2 while holding r1 to get back into uLauchElf
replace the retail disk with the backup,
press the button which you mapped the PS2 Browser to (It shows you on the startup screen)
And it should start,
Once you have done PART 1 then just go from part 2 each time you want to play a backup psx game,
Also i dont know if it ruins it, i assume it doesnt. What ruins it is when you swap disks while the disk is spinning (Worse on the Fat ps2s)
EDIT: I got it working with by creating a CUE file with IMGBurn and then burning with K3b as IMGBurn wouldn't work properly through wine, thanks for the help!

It must be hard setting those things on fire, Use some gasoline they'll go fast and quietly....
I'm already on Win7. As I remember ImgBurn was 2.5.1.0 but I don't remember Wine version - i'm sure it was above 1.1.0.0. I can also check on Debian with newest version of both of these apps.
@TnA
If my memory not failing me, two years ago Dlanor in one of his post explain it why it's illegal. I'll try find it... and I hope it Was Dlanor. ;d
