How do i find out what version i have? I thought the switch mode sounded too good to be true. Some dude sent me a private message said he'd install it and ship it or w/e for 155 with the best modchip made, good deal? good idea?

prisoner1138, to get back to his original question, do the emulators all work with the swap trick? From what I've read, they do, but then the issues with the swap trick (not everything works, often people say 60% of games work, etc.) make me cautious.
FWIW, I'm thinking about a fliptop to get emulators onto my system. I see already that I'll need an appropriate disc (like Swap Magic) but what about a GameShark/Action Replay? Is that also required?
In brief (sorry):
- All emulators work with swap trick (via fliptop, e.g), right?
- The swap trick requires at least two things: a disc to help you do the swap and a method for doing the swap physically (the fliptop, e.g.). It also requires a Gameshark, right?
Thanks in advance. :^)
I just got the DMS3 V9, can you please help me to backup the games on DVD-R?Originally posted by prisoner1138
holy...
how do you not know what a modchip is yet you're browsing this site? just look around and you should be able to figure it out.
i'm not gonna answer all that about swapping because that would mean i was supporting people swapping, something i dont do.
kochavy, there's a bunch of sticky threads in the dvd-r section of the forum
