How To Burn the Gameshark/Action Replay:
1)Put the Gameshark/Action Replay CD into your burner (the PC will most likely lock itself up for about 7 seconds)
2)Open up the latest version of Clone CD.
3)Select the very first icon (Read To Image File) - It has a picture of a CD and glasses.
4)Select the Burner as the CD-Reader, click Next.
5)Double Click on 'Game CD'.
6)Select the Destination on your PC where you would like to store the CD.
7)Tick the Box for "Create a Cue Sheet".
8)Click OK to Begin the reading process.
9)Once Reading 100%, successfull, Use CDR-Win, or Clone CD, to burn the image.
Remeber the image making process takes ALONG time 2 hours +
thanx for the info there buddie!
ill give it a try!
it actually worked, making the image...
but ill be damned if i can burn it! i have tried CDRWiN, Alcohol 120, and CloneCD! thank god for simulation writing ill try rippin it again thought i was getting somewhere
Blind Write Suite will do the trick, if your burner supports RAW mode. The PS2 side of the SharkPort is also built into any GS2 version 1.99d or better, so there's no need for a separate SharkPort disc anymore. The PC side software was available in Interact's support section for free.
have you tired loading the image up on a virtual cd/dvd rom drive to check if the image is good?
ok heres the deal guys, thanks for your help first off.
It seems that CloneCD does NOT like My cdburner

I guess that clonecd installs some sort of driver unsuitable for my drive, it was driving me crazy! So Basicly the image that i created was OK, its just that after installing clonecd, I couldnt burn ANYTHING. After some un-installing and some mindnumbing regediting i got back to a stable and running cdwriter...
Then I installed, Alchohol 120% and burnt the *.CCD just fine, only to find out that it didnt boot correctly on my brothers Ps2 w/ swap magic. (the whole reason for my backup was so he didnt have to go in my room to snag the disc everytime he used it)
In the End i gave him the original, since the backup booted just fine with my Messiah2.
Is there any way to boot GameShark Backups, using a no-solder method? We dont wanna use a REAL chip cuz you can still play online with this one
How long did it take you to make the image?

I too tried to create a backup of my Sharkport PS2 disc with the aforementioned programs. Only thing was... all programs kept getting errors beyond belief. Can someone recommend a few good burners that support RAW... OR what are the best all around CD burners that support everything. In other words... I want the GOD burner!!! Thanx
