.Hack G.U. Vol. 1 Rebirth

i have a fat ps2 with free mcboot..
Recently i started playing .Hack G.U. Vol. 1 Rebirth again with hd loader 8c and it started to freeze on me while playing. i changed the mode and used winhip to see if there was anything wrong on the hard drive. no issues ... can anyone help me out to play this game freeze free

I say delete it from the HDD,

Re-rip the game.

De-fragment the HDD with WINHIIP, save it.

And then reinstall the fresh rip of your game..

Also what type of HDD are you using?
What size of HDD?
And how much free space do you have on the HDD?

I'm using a Maxtor DiamondMax21 320 Gb
159 free space
