I always use verbatim, For all the coasters ive had with cheaper media, it makes verbatims seem cheap in the long run ;)
After all, You get what you pay for!
I have GTAVC on a DVD-r not sure what the media is but the label is all white. I also am having the DISC ERROR problems. I bought a Lense Cleaner with the brushes. I cleaned the PS2 then played and it frooze, reset played then frooze again I gave it one more chance and I played for a while with no problems. Will burning this on a VERBATIM make a difference and make those errors disapear. Or should I open my ROM and clean the lense manually..
Thanks........
:)
i think you need to adjust the laser,
read charlie_ps2's faq.
If you've been trying to be frugal (i.e. cheap) in the DVD-R blank department with no-name media, then yes, always try a 2x burn to a known 2x certified brand name like TDK, Verbatim, Pioneer, or Apple first before messing with any laser adjustments.Quote:

Keeping the laser lens clean with a Blaze PS2 cleaning disc is always a good idea, as you'd be surprised how much dust and crap gets sucked in a PS2 just by the action of the cooling fan.
Just buy the original, I did, it's worth it
Buy the good games, copy the other ones :D
How do you know he didn't buy it and he's just trying to make a backup of it?
Has anyone tried making a 1:1 copy of vice city on a +R and faced any problems? if so could u crack the problem in case u encountered one?
I Managed 2 make a perfect backup of GTA vice city with a cd-r today and it works 100% fine. (Just Rent Games And Use CDRWIN 2 rip it 2 ur HD then burn at 1X 2 a cheap media !)
Check out my poll, hardly anybody does that :pQuote:

It's just something I hate, copying every single game and not buying any, not even the games that are worth. No offense, nothing personal :D
