Yes, another one. I did a search and found about 20 pages of search results, with my keywords I entered being scattered around, so I figured I would just make a new thread.

Can you use a GT4 Backup on a Dual Layer DVD with Swap Magic 3.6 DVD? As long as you patch it or whatever?

You can't use it with swap magic...

Playing GT4 is only playable with a supported Modchip like the Matrix Infinity, DMS4 and the Mars Pro.. Another option is a harddisk, using hdloader and GT4 including the hd tutorial for hd support...

Not exactly true. Of course a swap magic cannot be used. But you can use many chips if the image is patched. If it is not, then you have three choices: DMS4/O2 and the Infinity. And the Mars WON'T work, except with a disk that was burnt using the patched image.

Yup, the toxic patch works with the majority of new modchips. Won't work with Swap Magic though.

I believe uns97 said he got his to work or was it reddragon105? I can't remember but one of those guys said they got it working on the Magic 3.1 modchip. Check out the toxic patch thread down below (towards the last page or two of the thread) and you should be able to find out.

Anyone confirm it works with Messiah 2 Pro 1.3.1? I burned a disc last night after patching with Toxic patch. Didn't work.

Which media did you use, what burner, did you set the booktype to DVD-ROM? We need more info here.
