I downloaded a couple games recently....one of them was a kalisto version of Rez.. with a ntsc/pal selector...first time it booted fine....then the next time it wouldn't...so i pull out the memory card and it boots..the next time i have to hard reset with no memory card and it boots.. same thing goes for a couple other rips i have....its' really weird i don't know if it's my ps2 or the games.......another thing is....does anyone know if auto insert notification messes things up with your burner when you are using clone cd and fireburner?..

Arrrrrrrrrr, ta answer yer question abouts CloneCD...do not use Auto Insert. Backup yer original as an Image to yer HDD, then burn the image to CD. It's a more reliable method for creating a backup.
As fer yer memory card issue, I've read about other games doing that too. They lock up at the mem-card check. The work around is ta simply boot yon game w/o the card inserted. It's the games, not yer PS2 chum. Good luck on yer voyages there....

Yes it does. Burning apps prefer it be turned off as to not interrupt the burning cycle as the OS tries to scan the newly inserted disc.

Cdrwin (goldenhawk technology not the version 5 crap) will make bulletproof copies of every PSOne, PS2, & DC "CD" game. Not suitable for DVD games though. I've done a gazillion without a failure. Can't imagine using anything else. By the way, KALISTO & all other downloaded PS2 DVD rips & PS2 CD games will be bin/cue using cdrwin. Other software such as Nero will burn .bin but bin/cue is native to cdrwin.
