Getting CDRwin to rip. (file to big. What now?)
Getting CDRwin to rip. (file to big. What now?) –

I have searched high and low looking for instructions. But all of the documents I have found are for CDRwin 4.0. And I have 5.0 witch is a different layout. I?m having a lot of trouble ripping a CD game. I will press the "Extract Track" button and another screen pops up. In that screen im suppose to drag the game file and put it on another menu but it just wont drag. Could some one please point me in the direction of some good instructions? For the newer version of CDRwin.

CDRWIN 5.0 is a freaking ripoff. The latest Goldenhawk CDRWIN is 3.9D. These two programs are NOT made by the same company and CDRWIN 5.0 is considered crapware to me. DL and buy the Goldenhawk version of CDRWIN. Its simply the best for ps1 and ps2 cd games.
And CDRWIN 4.0 was a beta and all of its features were integrated into CDRWIN 3.0
edit: sorry heres the link http://goldenhawk.com

Yeah 5.0 is total crap. It wasn't even made by Golden Hawk Technologies. 4.0 wasn't very good either, which is why it isn't supported anymore. Get a 3.9 version.

I have a new problem. I downloaded CDRwin 3.9. Every thing worked great. The problem is the ".bin" file is 711mb witch is more than will fit on a cd. But the game is on a CD not a DVD.
Could someone help me out please this is my firs attempt.
The game is Tekken Tag.

That's weird. I never had any problems with CDRWin 5. Burns all that I want.

CDRWIN 5 isn't too stable, though there are many advantages (can ACTUALLY burn RAW images without CUEs).
Though i think GoldenHawk CDRWIN was too oldschool.

this is how i put it...think of the both cdrwin as hamburgers. one cdrwin is an exclusive big mac from mcdonalds. a new fast food place opened up and made a hamburger and called it big mac and it has different toppings. so the two hamburgers have the same name but its made from different pplz. there you go. good story huh.

You can write your own cue file. And that's the main reason we all use CDRWIN. I tried CDRWIN 5.0, and it is crap. I thought goldenhawk turn retarded, until I realized it was not made by them.
