    ive properly burned some isos from my ps2 collection
    the problem im having atm is some of them are not booting with the cogswab.elf so far games include
    front mission 5
    soul calibur 2
    champions of norath
    tekken 5
    capcom clasics
    onimusha 3

    help plz
    does this have anything to do with the disc being blue
    are there fixes for this

    first up, use spell check. shit like plz is ****ing annoying.

    second. how did your ISO files get on your computer? did you use a program to rip them, (please list program used to rip and burn) or did you download them?

    here we go with another n00b that thinks he's the shit because he called me a dick. and he couldn't spell nevermind because he was either to lazy or too stupid to. sad really. Anyways, another one bites the dust.

    Edit - awwwww. I think I hurt his little feelings since I banned him. he can't get a reply in.

    Hi I have the same problem, i backed up my game using alcohol 120% before i trade the original game, i used ESR to patch the ISO, the game starts sometimes and sometimes don't, sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to start, and i'm using Free MC Boot and ESR on my MC, i would appreciate your help

    instead of alcohol 120% use IMGBURN or DVD Decrypter .

    and which brand of dvd you are using ?

    i'm using maxell dvd-R, 16x as max recording speed, 4 gb of storage, should i try burning at a lower speed?

    Burn at the mid speed of your burner, that might help. So if 16x is the Max. speed, burn at 8x.

    Also ensure your discs are free of any fingerprints from handleing, wipe them from the center outwards across the surface, never in a circular motion.

    i did burn it at mid speed, using ImgBurn, no use, the game start sometimes and sometimes dont, i have to push all the button and wait, sometimes a half of a hour, i forgot to mention that when the game start i have pressed the R2 and Circle Button, and sometime doesnt work, who knows, i'm starting to thinks in magic LOL,

    It seems the discs are burned ok and the console is attempting to read them, but intermittenly. The fact the console played the disc at all would suggest its working ok.

    I'd guess it to be a lens issue and possibly not the discs. Maybe cleaning the pS2's lens might help.
