fujifilm,cd-rs ???

are fuji film cd-rs any good
my ps2 has a messiah 2 pro and it wont boot any of my psx backups ,
i put in the disc and it goes to the browser screen,
then i hit the disc icon, it goes to a black screen for 5-8 seconds,then back to the browser screen.
i also tried the standby method.
load disc
hold reset for 2 seconds
(ps2 is in standby mode)
then press reset.
it still doesnt boot
and and another thing I use nero to burn and the lowest speed i can go is 4x

not all media works in all ps2's. simpel as that. if fuji films dont work for you, stop usin 'em and buy another brand. easiest to do would jsut be to borrow a cdr of a different brand from a friend to try so you arent stuck buying a bunch at once only to find out they dont work.

i just tried my psx/ps1 originals and the dont boot either
ps2 originals work,
havent tried ps2 backups yet
dont have a dvd-burner or dvd-rom

maybe ur useing the wrong boot sequence.

try this (if its an OFFICIAlL messiah 2 NOT a clone):

1) Put Disk in tray and got to standby mode (the red light on reset)

2) hold reset till blue lite comes on, then rls and it should werk.

if not try lower burning speed and diff cd-rs.

it depends...when i was on psx and was using my old 4x burner, fuji disks were the best ones i had. but that's also because the laser needed major recalibration and most cdr media wouldn't read.
