NIL 1.07 Update

I dont think this has been posted but NIL has developed RPC-1 firmware for the Pioneer A06/106.

From what I understand,( I could be wrong,) it is region free and gets rid of media certification?

So that FW can rip DVDs at up to 12x and makes it region free.

It's not really as big a deal as they are all making it out to be. They say that the drive is locked at 2x for ripping, but I have ripped at 8x + with this thing, and DVD Region Free enables you to run discs from anywhere, even RCE titles, without ****ing around with the fw.

From most of the testimonials given on that site, I would probably conclude that it does work, but I have to say, if it's not broke, don't fix it.
