Is there a Final Fantasy X texture mod? I'm playing FFX on PCSX2, the texture looks very low res. Has anyone made a high res texture pack for FFX? Thanks.

    1. No I think there aren't any higher-res textures (otherwise, Sqare-Enix, formerly Squaresoft would have done it themself thought).
    2. If there are any higher-res-textures they probably won't run on an original PS2, since it only has 4MB VRAM.
    3. You can internaly render PS2-Games with a higher resolution, if you use PCSX2.

I wasn't asking for an official high re texture, I was just wondering if anyone made a fan made texture pack for the game. I tried rendering the game at 1680x1050, the character looks a lot nicer, but the background objects still looks bad due to the low res textures.

You really think someone made a texture-pack just for those who want to play a PS2-Game on PC?
I sincerly don't think so and no I've never seen anything like that, wether for PS1, PS2, XBOX, NES, SNES and so on...

I never saw a mod for any game, which was only intended to work on an emulator...
And like I told ya before,... High-res textures probably would break compatibility with the original console and since emulators only 'simulate hardware' by software, I guess it would break compatibility to those also (even thought, some emulators are lessy in their restrictions [that's why you can render PS2-Games on PCSX2 in a higher resolution at all...]).

Btw.: I NEVER mentioned OFFICIAL HIGH-RES-textures, since like I said... Squaresoft would have already implemented them, if there were any...
I said with my first sentence (if it is that you were refering to with your answer...), that I don't think that there are ANY HIGH-Res-Textures available somewhere...

    Interesting!
O.K., there are hi-res texture-packs available for certain games.

I was just hoping FFX was popular enough that someone actually made mod for it. If not, that's fine too.
