Ok I did these Global Images(.gi) ALL the same way. Yet, some of the smaller games(Gauntlet Legends{~674MB}, MarvelvsCapcom2{~227MB}) came out as .gi's but they were labeled Data Mode2 Disc At Once (CD D5), 1 Track(s) and my Stomp wont allow me to burn these specific gi's to DVDR's but they will let me burn to CDR's with no problem. But when bigger games are made into .gi's (DBZ Budokai{1.37GB}) it is labeled as a DVD Closed Multiborder (DVD F3) 1 Zone(s) And Stomp allows me to burn this to DVDR's no problem. So does this mean that I shouldnt play the smaller games on my ps2 since they have been burnt onto CDR's? Anyone have an explanation for this?

Yes. RecordNow and PrimoDVD detect what the original format of the disc was and images it accordingly.
Keep in mind that not all PS2 games are in DVD format. If you look at the lower right side on the back of a game cover jacket, you'll notice it tells whether its in Compact Disc or DVD format. The PS2 can handle playback of both formats.
